Discover Senegal Tour 5-9 Days
Our most comprehensive tour — designed for travelers who want to experience Senegal in all its richness, from city life to wildlife, history, coastlines and the desert. All of our itineraries are flexible and designed to fit your schedule and budget. You may want to linger longer in Sine Saloum or Saint-Louis or spend a night on Gorée Island. Day 1: Dakar & Gorée

Day 2: Lompoul
Your day starts with a stop at Senegal’s Pink Lake (Lac Rose) where you can witness traditional salt mining and ends with a magical night in the Sahel Desert where you can enjoy a fireside drum circle before unwinding under the endless starry sky.

Day 3-4: Saint-Louis
The journey from Dakar to Saint-Louis is filled with adventure – from traditional markets to massive baobab trees. When you arrive in Saint-Louis the colonial architecture, sunset carriage tour and lovely nighttime views of the river and the Faidherbe bridge are just the beginning of a memorable trip.

Day 4-5: Sine Saloum
Explore the Sine Saloum Delta, a sanctuary of mystical baobab trees, winding mangroves, rich biodiversity, diverse cultural traditions and timeless fishing villages.

Day 6: Fathala
Adventure and once-in-a-lifetime thrills await in Fathala. Go on a bush walk, get up close with Africa’s large mammals on safari and experience the thrill of walking with lions.
